On 30^th, October, Mr. BOUCHOUAREB ABDESLAM, minister of Ministry of Industry, Algeria, accompanied by Adrar governor LIMANI MUSTAPHA and vice chairman of Algeria National Assembly ALI EL HAMEL, led a government delegation team consisting of government officials from Adrar, military region representatives and correspondents and visited STG cement producing line for which CTIEC is a general contractor. Mr. Ma Mingliang, vice president of CTIEC and general manager of Beijing Trump Group, together with relevant personnel from the project, warmly welcome the delegation team.

At eleven o’clock, with colorful flag spreading in the wind and machinery booming, the delegation team arrived at the site on time. Mr. Ma Mingliang, together with all management personnel of the project and nearly a hundred worker representatives, warmly welcome the delegation team. Mr. Ma first gave an introduction on China National Building Material Group Corporation and business scope and development situation of CTIEC. After that, Mr. Ma gave a detailed introduction on the implementation situation and current progress of STG project. Mr. Ma and the Minister also answered questions raised by correspondents.

After the introduction, the delegation team, with the accompany of Mr. Ma, visited and checked the construction site. The delegation team also attended launching ceremony of rotary furnace hoisting. Mr. Ma and Mr. BOUCHOUAREB ABDESLAM cut ribbons for the ceremony and formally ordered the start of hoisting. In wake of the ceremony, the delegation came to the living area of project personnel: a demonstration place for CNBM’s(China National Building Material) U-house energy saving fabricated house. A session was held in the project’s living area. Via tens of media outlets in the delegation team, Mr. BOUCHOUAREB ABDESLAM spoke highly of the project’s progress in such a short period of time and under such hostile environment. The two parties exchanged in-depth views on the cooperation in fields like cement, float glass, ceramic and new house. Mr. Minister has repeatedly emphasized his wish to enhance cooperation with CNBM. The visit was a success.

Line 1 of Algeria STG cement project is another cement project located in a “one belt, one road” country which is implemented by Beijing Triumph Group. This project is located at the hinterland of Sahara desert which means the environment is really hostile there. In spite of that, the company and project department overcome various difficulties and has made impressive progress since the start of construction in February 2016 which has won us unanimous praise from owner and related personnel. Algeria State TV, newspaper and network gave extensive coverage on the project which not only received strong response in Algeria, but also helped CTIEC build favorable enterprise and brand images in Algeria.
